Well, as I am sure you know the surname Heward is not very common in the United States. I am sure you all know by now just about any Heward in the United States is probably related to us. There are high concentrations in Idaho, and possibly Utah, as well as Snowflake, AZ. The origins of Heward actually come from England, and means Shepherd (ewe herder). I found this site that traces the likelihood of surnames around the world (mainly European nations, and their former colonies). Check out Heward on there, or other last names!
